The Office Hours Studio Artist Residency Program provides emerging Bay Area artists with access to the creative infrastructure, professional support, and development resources needed to take the next step in their careers. Designed for artists who are serious about long-term artistic growth, the residency functions as a full creative resource hub and artist development program rooted in community, collaboration, and independent artist empowerment.
Residency artists receive:
• Free access to studio booking and rehearsal space
• Recording sessions and engineering support
• Access to work with The Clean Up Crew for production, mixing, and mastering
• Artist development and career guidance
• Administrative support for music distribution and backend setup
• Hands-on support producing independent live events and showcases
In addition to creative services, Office Hours works directly with artists to help bring their ideas into the world through event production and audience development support. This includes:
• Flyer and promotional asset design
• Video content creation for social promotion
• Venue sourcing and coordination
• Volunteer staffing and event operations support
• Marketing and rollout assistance
